Sam Remains Undefeated This Decade

With January coming to an end, TFF has yet to announce the 2009 winner of TPM Cup. Hopefully, the fivesome will all be able to be together soon(maybe Sunday?) and vote. Currently, TFF plans on making the announcement of the winner and presenting the trophy the first time that all 5 are able to play this year. Meanwhile, 2 weeks ago S,M, and K were able to play the frozen tundra at Falcon Ridge for the first official match of the year. Mike came out with a vengeance as he not only birdied hole #1, but went on to birdie 3 of the first 7 holes. The only problem was that he also boggied 3 of the 1st 5, but did go on to shoot even on the front. Meanwhile the 2009 overall head to head match champion, Sam, played steady golf all day and was only 1 stroke behind after 9. Mike went 2 up on 10, but when M boggied 11 and 13, it was all square. Although Sam, the 2009 birdie champion, was unable to birdie any holes today, he did par the last 8 holes and go on to a one stoke victory over Mike and remains undefeated this decade. Sam and Mike both made strong starts to the 2010 season shooting 74, 75 respectively. Meanwhile, Karl, who was without a match today, played pretty steady golf to shoot an 85. Karl did have the shot of the year. His drive on the par 3 over the water #3 was hit to absolute perfection, and should have been an ace. However, Karl who never gets a break, got a bad bounce off the iced over lake and ended up 12 feet from the hole. He went on to miss the putt and what would surely have been the birdie of the year. Hopefully all will be able to play the first Friday in February. I'm including a video for anyone that did not get a chance to see this interview on Fox dealing with what Tiger really needs. It turns out to be the same thing that we all need, Jesus!

All We Need Is Love

All TFF needs is love, not lawyers. Can't K leave town for a few days of R and R(rest and relaxation not Ron and Ron) to prepare himself mentally for the long and grueling 2010 season without the rest of you acting like spoiled brats? Has The Provisional Mulligan Cup become such a coveted award that it super cedes friendships?(Of course the answer is yes, but to the point of hiring lawyers?)Did TFF not spend enough time in court in 2009? What TFF needs is a big group hug, not some big time lawyer using words none of TFF can pronounce much less understand. We all know how to tell when a lawyer is lying.(His lips are moving.), and we understand the difference between a dead dog in the road and a dead lawyer in the road.(There are skid marks in front of the dog.).We also know what you call 5000 dead lawyers at the bottom of the ocean.(A good start.). Do you know what to do if you were stranded on a desert island with Hitler, Bin Laden, and a lawyer, and you have a gun with only two bullets?(Shoot the lawyer twice.)Have you ever wondered why sharks won't attack lawyers?(Professional courtesy) How do you get a group of lawyers to smile for a photo?(Just say, "Fees!") When the lawyer currently hired by M(hence forth referred to as TLCHBM) moved into Hartford Square, his son W asked R's son A what his dad did for a living. "My dad's an insurance agent, said A. "What's your dad do?" "He's a lawyer," W answered. "Honest?" said A. "No, just the regular kind." answered W. Then there's the story of the two alligators sitting on the edge of a swamp. The small one turns to the big one and says, "I don't understand how you can be so much bigger than I am. We're the same age, we were the same size as kids...I just don't get it." "Well," says the big alligator,"what have you been eating?" "Lawyers, same as you." replies the small alligator. "Hmm. Well, where do you catch'em?" "Down at the law firm on the edge of the swamp." "Same here. Hmm. How do you catch 'em?" "Well, I crawl under a BMW and wait for someone to unlock the door. Then I jump out, bite 'em, shake the crap out of 'em, and eat 'em!" "Ah!" says the big alligator, "I think I see your problem. See, by the time you get done shakin' the crap out of a lawyer, there's nothing left but lips and a briefcase..." OK already! enough lawyer jokes, besides the problem with lawyer jokes is that lawyers don't think they're funny and the rest of us don't think they're jokes! Besides, isn't it a shame how 99.8% of the lawyers give the whole profession a bad name? Santa Clause, an elder on sabbatical, and honest lawyer, and and old drunk were walking along when they simultaneously spotted a hundred-dollar bill laying in the street. Who gets it? The old drunk, of course, the other three are mythological creatures. Please, as editor of TFF blogspot, I urge all members to desist in any relationships with lawyers. Turn your speakers up loud on your computer and sit back and play the following song. All TFF needs is love!
